Mission Statement
VISION
The vision of the Greenlee County Sheriff’s Office is “Doing the right things for the right reasons” which is a motto that applies to every employee throughout the entire department in all dealings with the public, other county employees, and other agencies. Enforcement and administrative decisions should always be determined by this vision.MISSION
The Greenlee County Sheriff’s Office will uphold the Constitutions and the Laws while protecting citizens and their property fairly and impartially. We will also maintain order in the county as well as properly and respectfully secure inmates within the custody of the Greenlee County Jail.
OATH
All sworn personnel are required to swear an oath as a certified peace officer in the State of Arizona. All personnel will swear an Oath of Service as a member of the Greenlee County Sheriff’s Office. This Oath of Office will be signed and retained in the personnel folders, along with signatures of acknowledgement of Strategic Transitional Plan and Conduct Policy.
